In March, 1852, they removed toSpring City, but were soon driven out by Indians, return-ing to Manti, and in 54 came to Ephriam. The familyconsisted of George, his grand parents, James and Eliza-beth, and his sister Eliza E. Edwards, widow of William,who died on the way across the plains. They assisted inconstructing the fort. In 65 he, with others, went toCircle Valley, remaining two years, when they weredriven out by Indians. He took part in both Indian wars,being in several engagements in Spring City in 53 andKabbit valley in 67. He has a nice farm of forty acres,well stocked and a comfortable residence in the
