"Ciciu" geological formations, Villar San Costanzo, Italy
"Ciciu 'd pera" or "stone puppets" are mushroom-shaped natural morphological sculptures. The caps are glacial erratic stones, and stalks are made up of earth. According to legend, the Ciciu are were Roman soldiers, transformed into stone to avoid being captured by San Costanzo.
