The bow is ofwood, which alt?o is quite the exception in otherEskimo regions, where it is of ivory. There areiiuiii3^ bows of antler from Norton Sound in thejMuseuDi, some of them skillfully and truthfullyengraved. The mouth-piece is plain; not verywell made. It is set with a square block ofmarble.
