Dinosaur footprint, Moenkopi Dinosaur Tracks, Tuba, Arizona

On Navajo land, on a red sandstone mesa near Tuba, AZ lies ones of the largest dinosaur track sites in the country. The tracks are embedded in the hard sandstone and are estimated to be about 193 million years old. They were laid down in a mudflat along a river and were subsequently filled in and protected by sediment.
