Catharine Mermet —One of the finest roses grown, valued highly for its elegant buds; color clear shining pink with delicately shaded amber and fawn center; a strong healthy grower and good bloomer ; one of the very finest varieties. Etoile de Lyon.—This magnificent tea rose is a rich golden yellow: a strong. healthy, vigorous grower, immense bloomer and one of the hardiest tea roses. Flowers of very large size and deliciously fragrant: surely one of the most beautiful yellow tea roses for general planting. Madame Hoste.—Ivory white changing in midsummer to canary yellow with amber center; a strong, healthy grower and verj'free bloomer ; flowers and buds of large size and can always be cut with long stems: one of the finest for bedding out or for forcing for winter flowers. Niphetos.—An elegant tea rose: very large and double: deliciously sweet; color pure white, sometimes faintly tinged with pale lemon: highly valued for its lovely buds which are remark- ably large and fine and particularly valuable for flower work.
