Taking Its Cue From The Traditional Japanese Pavilion [In Its Use Of Sliding Screens, Extended Platforms, Verandas And Bridges To Link It To The Landscape] The Temporary Opera House Will Be Erected Each Year For The Opera Season. It Is Made From A Limited Palette Of Materials: Timber, Fabric And Steel. It Combines Transparency And Lightness With A Sense Of Intimacy And Awareness Of The Surrounding Estate. Built By Unusual Rigging. Wormsley Estate Is The Home Of Mark Getty And The Getty Family.
