Some days you wonder why you uprooted your life in the Lake District and moved the family home to the Highlands. It can be hard, life is expensive up here and work is often hard to come But then you pop out one day because you really fancy fish and chips from the Fisherman's Kitchen in and get peace and solitude like this during the school holidays. This is when you remember what you moved for, this and to (hopefully) instill a sense of our history and culture into the next although I suspect that may be a lost cause for now!
