There is also an almost permanent LOW near Greenland. Between this hioh and this low there is a general movement of the air from the United States toward Europe and the Arctic region, and occasional spiral circulations. tIz., the cyclonic (agaiiist the Bun), with low barometer, and the anti-cyclonic (with the sun), with high barometer. Generally, to the eastward and m front of the cvclonic circnlation, or the i»w, the weather is damp, the thermometer rising and the WM or the HIOH, it is dry, cooler, and the barometer rises. -y^ y '-' A '<:^i.^^\ / /.
