Preston, Lancashire, UK. 6th April, 2015. Children take part in the tradition of Egg rolling in Avenham Park, Preston. The tradition has been around for hundreds of years and people turned out in their thousands on Easter Monday to roll chocolate and hard boiled eggs down the hills of the City-Centre park. The tradition of Easter egg rolling has also been adopted by the United States and there is now an annual Easter Egg rolling event held for children on the White House Lawn.
