He has continued to hold that office and isChairman of the Committee on Printing and Binding and a member ofthe Committeee on Books and on Rules and Administration. Mr. Cullinan was married in 1902 to :\liss Katherine F. Lawler andis the father of three sons and a daughter. Hisfather was a California pioneer of1849, and during his entire lifetimewas recognized as one of the mostl)rominent and enterprising figuresin the financial affairs of State andCoast. Judge Sloss received hisearly education in the schools of SanFrancisco and at Reids Academy,Belniont, preparing at the lastnamed institution for college. Hegraduated from Harvard in 1890with the degree of Bachelor of Arts,three years later obtaining from the Harvard Law School his A. LL. B. degrees. He was admitted to the bar in this State in1893, and entered upon the practice of his profession in San Francisco,being a member of the firm of Chickering, Thomas & Gregorv f
