MEDITERRANEAN SEA (November 9, 2014) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) moves into formation as part of a division tactics drill during exercise Mavi Balina. Exercise Mavi Balina is a biennial Turkish-led anti-submarine warfare maritime exercise involving NATO and regional forces in the eastern Mediterranean to improve interoperability and increase tactical proficiencies.
