Grey-winged francolin (Francolinus africanus). It is calling at dawn. Bird calls are usually territorial, or to attract a mate. The francolin is a gamebird, found in woodlands or grasslands. It forages on the ground for insects and seeds. This francolin is found in South Africa. Photographed in Intaka Island Bird Sanctuary, South Africa.
