Several of these seedlings have previously been named with the in- tention of introducing them at anywhere from $ to $ each. They have all been on trial for from three to six years. Mr. Palmer says that he considers any of them as good as the average variety in commerce. And all are distinct in color or in type from varieties on the market. I have grown all of these on my own place this past season and many of them have attracted a lot of attention from garden visitors. This set contains various shades of blue, orange, yellow, scarlet, pink, smokies ,dark red, etc. No whites. There is a dark red, that has the largest and most beautiful in- dividual flower I have ever seen in this color; an enormous dark pink, an exhibition smoky that many garden visitors have wanted to buy ;beautiful blues, one smoky that has been admired at the shows and many people have wanted to get as soon as intro- duced, and other fine ones too numerous to enumerate. The price of this set of bulbs is $ and ON REQUEST we will label these seed- lings by number so that if you should want to buy more of certain ones or should want to buy the complete stock of any one you could do so. If this collection sells well this year we shall have another one next year entirely different. Mr. Palmer has enough good seedlings coming along that he can make up a collection of this sort each year. Other Introductions 1933 LINDESTA. (Sdlg.
