Airman 1st Class Kyle Engle sorts through a collection of trapped insects to find mosquitoes. Engle, a public health technician with the 1st Special Operations Medical Group, will sift through the insects and then separate the male from the female mosquitoes by using a microscope. Since only the female mosquitoes feed on human blood and potentially transmit disease, they are collected and sent to a lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio for analysis. /Staff Sgt.
