Not much can be said about the cut flower market these days. Two items continue dominant, gladioli and, asters. Prices on the first-named are low, even for fancy spikes of Panama, Chicago White, America and other good sorts. Asters are not so good in quality as they have been. The early sorts are on the wane and heavy thunder storms have damaged many. Prices average fully as good as in previous years, how- ever. Lilies, both longiflorums and speciosums, are abundant and cheap. Carnations are out of the
