As Miss Pelletreau herself says, the earlieryears of her teaching were uneventful, meaning, no doubt, thatthey lacked adventure, as they must have been, like the present,full of faithful work and large results. Her first work in theCollege brought her into close relations with the girls, forming, abond of sympathy that called forth much love and tendernessfrom them that has not weakened with increasing cares.
