The engine baseis of cast iron and is provided withhand holes fitted with clamp covers fortha inspection of the main bearings, bore of the cylinder is 8 inchesand the stroke 10 inches. The ex- heads which arc thoroughly water jacketed and are securedby four large studs tapped directly into the crank case.
