The girders, piers and abutments constitute one at iis power station at Port which the company has builtGolden. Power Equipment. Heretofore the Easton & Washington Traction Companyhas generated at its Port Golden power station all the currentfor the line, with the exception of a very small amount takenfrom the Easton Power Company at the Phillipsburg end. As the stream to be bridged crosses the rightof way at the crest of a grade it was desirable to reduce theelevation of the rail as much as possible, and the girderswere therefore designed to take the rail without the use ofties.
