The motorized organizations trav-eled overland to the same towns. The entire brigade then marched into theForet de la Reine, where it was to remain hidden until the big attack ofSeptember 12. The brigade post of command was established in Boucq. Inthis sector the brigade became accustomed to gas attacks and to the hard-ships of traffic jams on the roads during the night, when all the motor as wellas the horse-drawn vehicles traveled without showing lights and without sound-ing klaxons.
