The disease is incurable, and is not worth while treating. SHIVERING. Shivering is a form of chorea, and is due to some lesion of thenervous system, perhaps the spinal cord. It affects the posteriorparts principally. Symptoms.—It is seen most when the animal is backing orendeavoring to back. He has great difficulty in backing, andbecomes excited. There is muscular twitching, with elevationsand quivering of the tail.
