SPLIT, Croatia (Oct. 6, 2014) Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Gregory Moser stands on the port bridge wing as the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) prepares to pull into Split, Croatia for a scheduled port visit. Mesa Verde, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
