GULFPORT, Miss. (Sep. 29, 2022) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, conduct a concrete slump test prior to pouring concrete at the Port of Gulfport. The slump test is conducted to measure the consistency and workability of fresh concrete before it sets. NMCB 1 is conducting an intense homeport training plan to expand their ability to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater operations.
