Shenyang, China - January 2000; Beiling Park has always acted as the 'green lungs' of polluted Shenyang, an otherwise grim industrial city of China's NE Liaoning Province. It contains many historic buildings, pine trees and lakes. Most notably, it includes within its extensive ground the noted Zhao Qing Dynasty Mausoleum and temple complex, constructed between 1643 and 1651.
