Inverted image of hands produced on thermochromic film. Thermochromic materials use liquid crystal technology which is encapsulated in the film, and at specific temperatures the liquid crystals re-orientate to produce a change of colour. In the image the warmer areas are coloured blue, changing to green and red, the cooler.
