It surpasses the finest Coleus, Begonias or Bertolonias m the exqmsite coloring of the leaves besides which the long racemes of lovely viol"t blossoms, with which the plant is covered in raid-winter, greatly enhance its vahie, beauty and usefulness. The undulation on the surface of the foliage is furnished with a blueish metallic hue, shading into lijht rose with a light green margin. It will prove a valuable acquisition, both as a bedding and decorative plant. See illustration.
