Several of the local florists attended the State Florists' Association meeting with Harry White, in North Manches- ter, last week. Albert Pittet reports satisfactory sales of seeds of 'his new sweet pea, which he is now putting on the market. John Bieman is showing a good line of box trees at his store. Hartje & Elder are cutting large quan- tities of fine daisies. S. T. Hitz & Son have been sending in quantities of snapdragon. The Smith & Young Co. has been cut- ting some first-class roses at the Cum- berland plant. The Pahud Floral Co. has been get- ting excellent service out of the new Ford delivery car. George Wiegand is planning a trip through the east "in his new Cadillac roadster in the near future. The Indianapolis Flower & Plant Co. has a fine line of bedding stock for the spring trade. H. L. W. Wichita, Kan.—A permit has been is- sued to Joseph Blake to build a green- house, 84x128 feet, and a boiler house, 14x30 feet, at 122 to 128 Rosenthal ave- nue, at a cost of $2,000. E. A.
