The Market. Business here is still brisk and flow- ers are selling at a price that is about the same as a month ago. Carnations are small and of poor quality. Florists do not carry many of them in stock. Eoses are plentiful and of fine quality. Fine Butterfly and Columbia are seen and the daily cut is larger than ever be- fore. Gaillardias, larkspur and daisies are much in demand and are plentiful. Sweet peas have been scarce, but out- side stock is coming in now and the shortage is not so acute. Various Notes. The McKellar Co. will open a new store August 1 in the new James thea- ter building, at 35 West Broad street. This is considered the best location in town and the owners expect to make it the largest and most modern of flower shops in town. This store will be man- aged by J. W. Thompson, who has had much experience in his line. The Livingston Seed Co. is moving its retail department to the wholesale de- partment, on I^ast Chestnut street, and expects to do a bigger business than ever. The Mission Inn, which is in the same room with Wilson's Seed & Flower Co., recently purcliascd the entire lease from Wilson's, which is moving around the corner, on East Town street. The Mis- sion Inn will open a flower shop soon after Wilson 's moves out. This will be managed by William Walker, who is now with Wilson 's. McKcHar's had the order for the Jewish society which sold flowers
