A second injection was made on the 8th day thedosage this time being increased 50 per cent. The animalsblood sugar was normal 28^ hours after the injection. It remainedwithin normal limits for practically a day, rose again to a highlevel, only to return to normal 24 hours later, and remained normalfor some days.
