Picture by Roger Bamber: 9 December 2003: Stone carver Paul Ellis works on the effigy of a ferret on the outer roundel boss inthe newly carved stonework of the "Deans Eye" Rose Window in Lincoln Cathedral laid out on the Cathedral's north transept floor. The ornate carved stone will replace the original medieval Rose window dating from Story by Maev Kennedy
