These, in some instances, formmosaics representing figures of saints or birds and city was once famous for these tiles, which were madeby the Indian potters, but the industry is now dead and theart is lost. In almost every street one passes church afterchurch, in various architectural styles, some of them hugeedifices large enough for cathedrals.
