Hvide Sande has uniquely had shown how the transition to renewable energy at the same time can boost business and improve local infrastructure. This has created the necessary public acceptance of the citizens of Hvide Sande. Three wind turbines , each with 3 MW in 2011 was welcomed by the entire local population. Hvide Sande has uniquely had shown how the transition to renewable energy at the same time can boost business and improve local infrastructure. This has created the necessary public acceptance of the citizens of Hvide Sande. Three wind turbines , each with 3 MW in 2011 was welcomed by the entire local population. The turbines are located a few meters from the water's edge . Annual production for each turbine is 15 millions kWh , it is as much as for offshore wind turbines of the same size , but here's investment doubled. The awards ceremony takes place at a ceremony in the German Mortgage Bank KfW office in Berlin. 29 November 2013, 18:00.
