Hunin Fort-Feature of the Back Yard


An image of the remains of Hunin fort in the eastern Upper Galilee near Moshav Margaliot. The fort was built in 1105 by the Crusaders to protect the road that connected Banias (Paneas) and Sur in Lebanon. It is also known as Chateau Neuf and Castrum Novum.
