Plaza de la Platería de Martínez is the name given to a small square in Madrid, in the urban space known as the neighborhood of the muses or letters. Real Platería de Martínez, an institution created by Carlos III as a goldsmith school whose building, demolished at the end of the 19th century, was the work of the architect Carlos Vargas Machuca. In his memory, the square is dominated by a modern fountain that imitates the neoclassical style of the old silver factory. Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain, Europe
