Coast Records. We have compiled after a great amount of labor and re-search the following list of performances, whichwe think aiethe best that have been made on the Coast. Athletic sports afew years back were reported in such an unintelligible man-ner that it is very hard to arrive at satisfactory conclusionsconcerning many events, so we would be greatly obliged ifany of our readers would notifj us of any properly authenti-cated performance they may know of that is not given in thislist. A great many of the performances given in the listare very mediocre, principally owing to the fact that manykinds of the contests are now omitted from the programmes, consequently a great many of the present athletes only lackopportunity in order to wipe out many of the present Coastrecords. We have received valuable assistance from C. ,Secretary of the Merion C. C, in preparing this list: 75 Yards—7 4-5 seconds, J. Maste
