Raw Tempel is a non-profit community organisation with some 100 members and 65 projects. The association uses four buildings in part if a former railway maintenance yard, damaged in World War 2 and neglected by the East German government. The organisation has been renovating the buildings to preserve their architecture since 1998. They are used by artists for cultural purposes. Here we see red arches with painted images of political and pop figures below Warschauer Strasse, near the steps to the Raw Tempel complex.
