At Alexandria Bay, thelarge passenger steamers of the Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Com-pany stop and take on board the tourists destined for the voyage oftwelve hours down the rapids of the St. Lawrence River to Montrealand beyond. Passengers going to the White Mountains via RousesPoint, over the 0. & L. C. R. R., also take these boats as far as Ogdens-burg.
