The berries are large, roundish, jet black, firm and of extra high qual- ity. Canes of strong, vigorous growth, iron-clad hardi- ness, and immensely productive, continuing longer in bearing and yielding more fruit than any other. Ripens early and continues for some time. The best for main crop. For the family garden it is the first choice, its long season of bearing and choice fruit making it espe- cially desirable. One of the finest of the early Blackberries, its large size, extreme earliness, productiveness and fine quality giving it great prominence. Where one wants an early sort ripening its crop quickly this is the berry to choose, for it ripens before Lovett.
