A field-grey helmet for enlisted men of the Horse Guard Regiment, depot piece 1916 Bright steel skull, complete with all fittings in wartime version (traces of the field-grey toning). On the front the large star of the Horse Guard Regiment with applied Saxon coat of arms in field-grey. The original leather chinstrap with repair on the right, attached to button 91, complete with both cockades in the small Saxon version. Detachable spike.
