Maj. Nicholas “Jakal” Rallo, 63rd Fighter Squadron F-35A Lightning II instructor pilot, taxis on the flightline, Feb. 22, 2021, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Rallo is now recognized as the first pilot at Luke to reach 1000 flying hours in the F-35A. This milestone highlights Luke’s ability to train and transform combat-ready Airmen to meet warfighting needs.
