ARABIAN SEA (Nov. 25, 2016) Chief Christopher Roth, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) straps a simulated victim into a litter during a man overboard drill. Roth serves aboard Nitze as a culinary specialist and is responsible for preparing and serving food for the crew. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
