A Freehold For Sale sign on the old Penge Police Station.

Penge Police Station was built in 1872 as a response to local residents concern over rising crime. Until its recent closure it was thought to be the oldest working police station in London but has now been closed as part of the Metropolitan Police’s modernisation programme in Bromley.
