The stylish c1685 dovecote beside the rose parterre within the walled garden of Rousham House in Oxfordshire. Espalier fruit trees grow on its stone wall and to the left is a Pacific Dogwood (Cornus Nuttallii) displaying its autumn colours, together with the long and brightly coloured dahlia border, which runs to 150 feet.
