Charlie Sandison (GBR) passing through Cabot Square, on his way to finish 6th in the Mass 18-39 Category, 2023 London Marathon in a time of 02:19:22.

Having been born in Scotland, I was brought up in the outdoors. I have been running all my life but the intensity increased after moving to London in 2017 as my focus changed from triathlon to running. I have always been a student of endurance sports, having competed at a high level in swimming, and have always been fascinated in how differing training methods can cross over into different endurance sports. My personal best of 2:21:16 at the London Marathon 2022 has allowed me the opportunity to talk about running to the next generation and hopefully inspired some to keep carrying on with sport and the pursuit of achieving personal bests into their adult years, it doesn’t need to stop after school and university. I have gained coaching qualifications and I am currently waiting for my Level 2 Coaching in Running Fitness course to start. I aim to provide personalised running plans and work with individuals to help them realise their running goals, whatever they may be. Please reach out to me using the form below and we can have a general introductory chat so I can learn more about what you are looking for and how I can best help you reach your goals.
