Underneath, ventral surface and abdomen smooth (abdomen appears unsegmented). Tarsi with grayish pubescence; femur enlarged in male. Female abdomen enlarged, passing the elytra considerably as in the blister beetles. Elytra do not quite enfold abdomen in females and femur more slender. EGG - Small, rounded, yellowish.
