ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 15, 2018) -- Sailors assigned to the "Tomcatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 31 (top) and Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) (below) prepare to launch an F/A-18E Super Hornet during flight operations on Ford's flight deck. Ford is underway conducting test and evaluation operations.
