HONOLULU (Oct. 21, 2022) – Chief Yeoman Nigel Lampkin, from Blackshear, Georgia, assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), passes through side boys after being pinned to the rank of chief petty officer during the ship’s promotion ceremony aboard the USS Missouri Memorial in Honolulu, Oct. 21, 2022. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms, and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
