The Victoria Times states that John Hanbury, formely of Brandon but now of Vancouver, has purchased 3,850 acres of timber lands on the Sechelt Inlet, British Columbia, from the Thomson Estate of Hamilton, Ont. The sale of timber limits to be held this fall by the Ontario Government will, ac- cording to report, be the largest since 1885. King, of Victoria, has an op- tion on 150,000 acres at the same price. The name of the Edwin well Lum- ber Company, Chicago, has been changed to the Hermann H.
