RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (Aug. 1, 2018) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. John Richardson visits with leadership in the Brazilian navy while aboard the multipurpose amphibious ship NDM Bahia (G40). CNO is on a trip to deepen the US-Brazil naval relationship. The engagement is part of a multi-day trip to South America to strengthen partnerships and increase maritime cooperation.
