PEARL HARBOR (Jan. 12, 2016) - Hospital Corpsman 1st Class James Aldridge, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, installs a bracket to support a new cathodic protection system on a pile. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDDA) is conducting pier repair on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam to help prolong Third Fleet assets. CDDA is on the first stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
