Ten of once thirty windmills are still to see in Campo de Criptana. The place is considered one of the sceneries of medieval author Miguel Saavedra de Cervantes famous romance Don Quijote de la Mancha. Here the crazy and couraged knight faugth against the windmills which he took for dangerous giants.
